It definately is better than the soft take over. I can live with using the same buttons to start and cue on deck a and c, but its the faders and EQ knobs thats the bitch. So for me....its definately the way to go. Also since i have TC vinyl...i can use my decks to control deck c and d. So my mission is to sell my Audio 4 and get the 8 and upgrade to TSP. Can also then sell my TPro license as far as i am aware. Then get a 4 channel mixer. Maybe a MidiFighter and X1 to control my cue points and FX. That would be me FullHouse. Maybe a footpedal to control modes like Ean does for the SuperFader. Shoooo....better start saving...... Also want a new MacBook Pro. Lol.

You can build your own Controller VHoff. The parts are available and easy to source via this site and the links found here. I am sure you could find someone with a few tools to help you build it. It really is possible bro. Look at all the success stories and pics on here of these projects. I love the Anthony More 3 deck modded VCI. But i hear ya. Time....patience etc. Maybe in a while after you been using what you currently have and need to grow to a new setup....you will see. Its bloody addictive. I gotta be careful or i will become a gearhead....and they dont get anything done in terms of really getting to know your gear. If you keep collecting....you end up with huge overkill. Lol

How is that no one here is aware that you can chain 2 Faderfox DJ2 to control 4 decks in Traktor? it's very easy to set and not very expensive, it's also a good looking quality and reliable controller.

not enough buttons, buttons too small, needs power supply, and at over £200 each (so £400 for the pair) hardly "not very expensive".

Faderfox is way too expensive for me...

@Sarasin, thanks for those words, i will keep them in mind. I've started to seek a electronics friend to help me with my project. As I work with IT area I can't live with limited tools, in my area when I see myself limited by some tool I make a better tool (software) on my own. I think I will end up making something better afterall, and I will use the Oxygen until it's done, after it's done i will use Oxygen for music production...

It has all the buttons you need to control all the funtions in Traktor and a switch button for secondary operations, what if the buttons are small? they do the job very well and for the price, people is paying almost double here for the fucking VCI that just controls 2 decks and it's a headache to map to get it work properly with Traktor just cause Ean uses it, while the DJ2 comes so well pre-mapped that you don't have to do anything.

    Who needs fucking arcade buttons?

    mate, chill...

yeah on a pound-for-pound basis the vci is twice the cost, but the overall outlay is still about £400 either way. putting aside djtt versions.

some people found this site after getting a vci, ean has found a new and (very) popular way to use it. and it's not that hard to map, once you've figured out how to map devices - vestax have tks/tsi files on their website anyway.

even the dj2 would be difficult for someone that hasn't mapped anything before.

Default *throws hat into the ring*

Currently running 2x VCI-100 with my own mapping. One unit sits above the other, so reflects the TSP interface to a tee. I use the pre-labelled 'Effects' knobs for activating and manipulating the key and filter functionality for each deck, as I don't use effects that often.

If I do use effects, then I hook up my Kore controller for just two banks, rather than four (in chained, rather than advanced mode).

Alternatively - if the tracks I know I'll be using are beat-gridded to perfection by TSP (too lazy to do it myself) I can use my VCM-600.
