If I'm not mistaken. Pendulum was/is a rock band that sucked, and decided to make DnB because they thought it sounded cool. They put out an album, and it was huge, and now they are trying to go back to their "rock" roots. And in turn, sucking.

so they were a bullshit rave/rock band first. was not aware of that...

yeah i wish they'd put out something that rivaled Hold Your Color, that was one of my favourite albums of 2005. i was really dissapointed when they decided to take a different direction.

Daft Punk:

French electronica duo Daft Punk has been signed to write the original music score for Tron 2.0, Walt Disney’s upcoming sequel to the groundbreaking 1982 animation cult hit which was scored by electronic music icon Wendy Carlos. Daft Punk’s members Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter have been involved in various films before, but Tron 2.0 will be their first complete feature film score.
