Not completely true, as an s4 owner, the 3 months special upgrade for the audio10 with scratch pro 449 dollars isn't clearly described. What do you need to own to get this special.

Karlos just stated on the traktor forum that it's not for s4 owners. That's a bummer, might consider to find a cheap audio 8 now and update to scratch pro 2 for 140 dollars. or take the red pill and buy the audio 10 separately for 449 dollars.

Took the blue pill in November when i decided to wait out the whole new deal and not go for the 300 dollar traktor scratch pro special. Damn

Would have been nice if NI had thrown in a bone for us s4 users, But understand as well they need to draw some line. I can get the teacher discount, but there is none stated at this moment

Or even sell my denon 3700's and just go completely digital, but as a back up plan the dvs system would be nice to have.

DUde you dont need an Audio 8.
The 140$ upgrade is for the TSP2 software that you can use with your S4 Kontroller and use timecode with it.

Souldancer, I also wish for what you ask, but it is clearly described in the "You already own" column:

TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO

I wish that i got the TSD package for 180EUR (or so) and end with a 50EUR A4DJ now on top of S4, but I didn't. No one's to be blamed.

It takes a minute or two on the pricing page, but I really find the information clearly presented ...

Either way you look at it if you want to simply upgrade from TP to TP2 it's cheap! If you want to upgrade to TSP2 and get a new audio interface its fucking cheap!

What do we expect?? 100's of man hours of development and testing by NI isnt going to be given away for free!!!! They are a profit making business. More profit = More development = Greater product!

Dont wanna pay? Switch to Serato. I hear their software is free but expect a wait if you want 4 decks and a SHIT load of effects!!

In fact, I find all the NI products to be damn well priced. Yes, they cost a bunch, but you pay a very reasonable amount for a great quality products. And I do find them affordable.

Forget about it, clearly i now that, just thinking of a backup system when i have a failure with my s4, i'm on a small island, we can't run to a shop and just get a replacement. that's all.

Yeah, there's not much sense to be as excited as I am, but I just can't help my self LOL

the baby sits with me in the living room for the evenings, as mrs need some time off for a deeper sleep. The end result is almost no music listening, not to speak for experimenting with sound. I'm considering to improve my knowledge and skills for playing classical music for baby oriented mixtapes LOL

it'll all get back to normal eventually ... and I'll have nough time for the lovely s4
