Not at all! You are supposed to be able to do everything on the controller. I find that there isn't a reason to look at the software while playing live at all.
I don't know that colour changes or time stretching can be changed from the hardware.

You could always build a favourite list by making a new tag in the browser and then browsing this shorter list live.
Anyone make a MKII mapping for Traktor yet? Endo has one for sale but I'm not really interested in buying a map that I may or may not like.
I'm working on mine - LED feedback for almost all functions, all 8 hotcues for all 4 decks (when set to track decks), EQ kills and resets, control of all four fx units, including on/off for all units for all four decks and routing options, deck flavour changers, scrarch control on/off, scrubbing and beatjumping, push/pull, track prep tools, browser controls, control of the global section, loop controls, hard cuts, and more. It will be done soon.
Is the LED feedback in color? If you want to send it to me I can assist you in building it out. I just want to start from somewhere. dj@spencerthayer.com if you're interested.
Today I am working on a Serato map.
i'm working on one for turntable dj... cues, fx, loops, plooping for decks a-b... deckadized mixing for c-d...i've got one mapping but don't like it enough to share yet... browser settings are complete
only issue i've had is there are repeat notes on different banks...i.e. bottom 4 pads in bank b have same note and controls as top 4 of bank A...this is the case for all banks...i was going to make it simple and keep bank buttons for deck control buttons but have to do something different now

yeeeey, a new 1.8.2 update for Maschine. THE update to semi-satisfy it's users enough to postpone public revolt. Another injection of hypermediocrety in the 1.x.x software.
Give us Maschine 2. A software worthy of it's hardware!

Prematurely would have been releasing it before the mk2 controller...
