It looks nice! But I'm not sure if it would replace my X1.
I'll wait and check the reviews/vids when they 'released' it.

I'm sure they allow some things to leak...like the X1 MK2, and don't allow things to leak that will give them an advantage over competitors like the F1.

Adding remix decks (ableton style launch clips) to a DVS was a new idea, and is probably still giving them an advantage over serato becuz serato was not aware of the update until it was released...releasing an updated controller is not that new of an idea and they would rather have hype than keeping it from their competition.

It makes no sense to leak it to one seller for "hype", then erase all threads mentioning the leak on the user forum. The only "hype" is over here on DJ Tech Tools in this thread. This was simply a mistake. They would get more hype by officially releasing teaser photos, videos, etc.

Agreed. This was obviously a leak, give it a week or two and we will see a video and such confirming it.

I would also like to point out how teaser trailer-esk the Z1 video was. Seems like they are really trying to create a new family of modular controllers. Maybe a platter?

Though i'd love to see a platter, the X1Mk2 seems like it would take the place of what a platter controller would do (control deck, hot-cues, search, browse etc.) I am skeptical that they will go down that path. I'm not saying the X1Mk2 is just as good as a platter or would do things as easily or as well as platter controller, just that it seems to sit in the same functionality space and that makes me doubt whether they would do a platter controller. I could be wrong though. Personally I would guess at a S2 or S4 Mk2 update or maybe a Z4...or maybe a totally different modular controller for use with iPad...who knows.

Z4 would be pretty great. I would probably get rid of my S4 get a Z4 and a Z1 for small gigs.
