i dont get whats the use of soft sync.
i thought soft sync would of meant that if the beats are off tempo that with pressing the sync button that would slide the beats into place softly so the ear didnt notice to much, but it doesnt do that, it just jumps the beat back on time and in the process its very noticeable as its sounds like an old cd skip etc.
yeah i know when the beats are off you can just manualy nudge the jog wheel and slide the beats back on track, but i would of thought, thats what the soft sync feature was meant to do ? am i missing something or miss understanding something here ?
i like the beat sync as i can do spin backs or micro loops without loosing the beat
EDIT:my spelling sucks

soft sync just matches up your BPM's but does not align your grids. I would be a great advantage for DVS users so they won't have to ride the pitch and match BPM's.

I just found a nice use for the auto bouncer. You can make a sick breakdown with the following settings:
Attachment 4998
Turn the effect on and off again about 4 beats before the drop.
It'll sound like this:

I think it works best for Electro/Dubstep, since it's kinda filthy.
Edit: Of course, messing with the parameters can give you a more interesting effect.

Call me a spoilsport but I really don't see why you'd want to use a DVS if you're not tempo matching manually and you're not scratching. ):
As for making it soft sync when loading a track surely you just leave sync on. You know. The same way you always have for traktor...?
