that is how i personally learned to mix 10+ years ago and probably quite a few clubs still have TT's but pretty sure its getting less and less common.
i only really got back into anything dj-related a few months ago and tbh i was shocked that TT's had pretty much been superceded by cdj's but does make sense really.
my next shock was the existence of the notorious sync button - which i have now learned to love
times change...

Zedd uses a kontrol s4 for his live shows, he tours with deadmau5, skrillex and others.. so i'm sure the S4 will become more popular as time goes by.. after all, the s4 was built as a professional DJ controller lol.
