Has anyone tried the algoriddim dj cable that they made for their app so you can split the cue from the master?

Yes, it's the Griffin Cable and works perfectly. In fact it's the best £11 i have ever spent.

Happy days! Im guessing in mono? Although that would be more than ok for a backup scenario

Do you know the exact way this cable works?
Does it sum Left and Right into mono giving you Channels 1/2 Cue Mono (M/M) and Channels 3/4 Master Mono(M/M)?
or
Does it double up Left and double up Right giving you Channels 1/2 Cue Left (L/L) and Channels 3/4 Master Right (R/R)?

The second one.
Oh no, wait... That might be wrong...
im guessing it gives a mono master mix and a mono cue mix...each mono out probably being the stereo signal summed

No, i think you are right.
It sends the master down the right side of the cable and the monitor down the left thus making it double mono.
A bit like using the Mono option in Traktor Pro. In fact it's worth having one in your bag in case your soundcard goes tits up and you have no backup. You can still cue on Traktor and output the master to the house mixer.
Of course, it's not gonna sound as good as any decent audio card and it's passive so it's quieter but for a backup it's a good shout.
I have had my ipad in the club mixer alongside my S4 and I just have to up the volume on the channel with the iPad a little and it's just as loud and just as clear (shock horror, audiophiles, throwing hammers at me)... in a your typical high street club no-one will notice. The audio output of an iPad is pretty high quality.

So If a song has two discrete harmonizing backup vocals recorded in stereo, Let's say Gina is backup vocal Left channel and Pedro is backup vocal Right channel, you will only hear Gina in your headphones (CUE) and you will only hear Pedro in your main speakers (MASTER). And you will lose the harmony completely.
Of course, this is a rare occurrence. Although applying DJ Murphy's Law, it will probably be the couples wedding song.
I will research it with some left/right pans and confirm this hypothesis later this week.

How does the app perform with lossless files (AIFF/WAV) - ie load time, glitches etc? Track prep would be useless to me if I was just prepping mp3 copies.
