I like the scs.3d for looping and FX, but not simultaniously. It's a big disadvantage of the stanton 3 system to have to switch between modes..
The X1 seems to solve this, although i have not tried it personally. I am thinking of getting the X1.. (or else maybe the Xone 1D)

My setup is a reloop dj2 :P a ghetto midi keyboard and my macbook 13" (not shown on screen) and my sennheiser headphones it works nicely with the keyboard controlling loops effects and cues but i would love to get some more gear but im not sure what. Any suggestions?

Maybe you should have a look at the Native Instruments Kontrol X1, DJ Tech Kontrol One or Reloop Contour. These 3 are all build to do looping, effects and easy hotcue access. I think the X1 would fit best for you because you already have jogwheels on your reloop and so the ones on the dj tech and reloop countour would be redundant.

I was thinking of having the scs just as another controller to control deck c/d and some other things, I'm definetly going to get an x1

So I took the rubber wings off the APC40, and mounted it into my DJ coffin. Eventually I will try and add an innofader to the APC. If you raise the APC40 off of its standard height, replacing the cross fader should work, if the fader is compatible.

I also posted a few more pics. Still not sure if the laptop should sit center and keyboard to the side, or like it is in these picks. The coolest part is ease of set up, 1 plug from the mounted power strip, and plugs into the laptop. Eventually I will build a completely custom coffin, and everything will stay plugged in resulting in about a 1 minute set up time.

Holy COW what a super-fine studio room that is, I love the Orange boxes as well. I was in doubt to get a new guitar amp but then realized I have no money for DJing + guitar playing.. LOL
