I quite like it and I've been looking at getting a new mixer so this could be perfect. My only concern is that it will be made cheaply and built similar to the S4, which I wasn't too keen on.

So this seems to be right down my alley. I have been thinking of stepping up from my S2 to either SL1200s or SC3900s but would likely still stick with Traktor since I am quite familiar with it.
So this fits right into what I would need in the setup, a mixer, hopefully with the ability to swap out crossfaders, that can hook up a F1 or two. This is meant for people that want to stay in the Traktor line while going away from controllersm and getting that beautiful 1:1 matchup to software.

Nice mixer. But I'll wait for the four channel version.

looks cool... as long as there is no internal mixing it should be very cool
I mean its awesome its a stand-alone mixer from what I gather. But won't like more then half the unit be non usable unless you hook a computer up to it anyways? Or will all these functions like loops and effects be built in?
If thats the case, couldn't they just offer a bare bones one as well that isn't standalone for a cheaper price?

Looks like they will keep the fingerprint magnet design they used on the S4's mixer section.
Could it be "M" next to effects mean that wel see mixer effects back with traktor? Select Global FX Unit / Direct-mixer. I'd love that.
