I'm Awesomer, I live in San Francisco, California, USA. I'm a DJ, remixer and producer, in that order.

I have over 10 years of experience as a DJ, starting out playing hard and wonky european techno. Subhead, Si Begg, Cristian Vogel, Neil Landstrumm, Tresor Records, Sativae, and so forth. I have always, since before I was even a DJ, wanted to play non-electronic music with electronic dance music. For years I struggled to do this with vinyl... how many times did I buy vinyl to determine that it was impossible to pitch it where I wanted to? I bought guitar pedals to try to get effects sends and all sorts of ridiculous stuff. Eventually I ended up doing digital mixes in Sonic Foundry Acid for a few years there while waiting for the live DJ technology to catch up with what I wanted to do.

I made a 60 minute CD of five 10-13 minute micro-mega-mixes, three of which are "mashuppy", one of which is hip-hop and the last of which is a mix of roots dub reggae and american folk. They are styled as a collaboration with "DJ Data Corruption", who y'all may know if you ever had a hard drive full of music crash. It's up on soundcloud :

I now have a VCI-100SE modified by DJTT to go with my Traktor Scratch Pro. I am super excited about the ability to do live mixes which aren't trapped in a turntable shaped box. I'm looking forward to participating in mixtrains, remixing other users' tracks and other fun activities here at DJTT while I master my new weapons..

I am from Ireland and currently reside here but spent a lot of my life in England and shall be moving back in the next year or so.
I am a self employed carpenter and joiner.
I listen to a lot of acoustic music and love my trance, electro and dubstep too
