of this indeed a 13" laptop in the video, then there is alot of content on the screen. this would imply to me that they have changed their UI toolkit, which is a pretty big deal. so that would imply its more likely to be a 2.0. then again i think it would be a bit too soon to ask for money again imho.

It is a 13" laptop. Look at the lack of speakers next to the keyboard. Looks slightly cramped on there, but shouldn't be bad on anything bigger. Even if it is a paid upgrade i wouldn't mind depending on how many changes there are and how expensive the upgrade really is.
Guys what is this going to be called "Traktor Kontrol X2, X3, X4, X5"???
DJTT are going to bring out their own version - what can possibly be different? if Ean was already involved in the design etc - what does Ean want different for the DJTT people? If it is mad controllerism type stuff I'll prob stick with the standard edition.
Will this be €799 in europe?
that version of traktor looks like the love child of Traktor and Torq
I have a feeling that a DJTT version would have 8 arcade buttons on each side, and a mapping that is far to complex for a mere mortal to design. But thats just my guess.
So what are we thinking guys are we gonna be able to plug CDJ's/TT's into this beast?
It would surprise me if NI made a controller in house that wasn't TSP certified, but seeing as how it looks to come bundled with software that isn't scratch software I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't have any external hookups.
