In lieu of the latest Vestax news, I ordered this hardware last night.

I really believe this is the best evah! Just a great controller...
Daaruz, I dont use traktor but I think that is hands down the most robust traktor controller made. 2 years ago when I was deciding whether to stick with live for performamce or switch to traktor, that was going to be my go to controller. Built like a tank...
Just got this in the mail yesterday. Sounds good, looks good and I love the footprint. I was on the fence between the duet and babyface for 6 months but what it came down to was I didnt need the extras that the babyface offered and it was a few hundred more expensive. Plus I liked the metal over the plastic.

I also checked out the Tanzbar, has an amazing sound. But it was either get that and some cheaper monitors or go for what I got, so got the Eve's and the 522. Have to say the sound from the 522 is huge, the kick sounds massive, really nice toms, clap, the snare can be nice and boxy or really snappy, overall amazing little machine. Got it hooked up so I can sequence it from maschine, pretty happy with the workflow.
Next up on the list, is a few pieces of outboard like those beautiful bits of hardware you've just treated your self to! Happy birthday man, nice litlle bunch of presents there!

Yeah, gotta spend the money on the monitors. Glad you're enjoying the 522! Might have to give that one a deeper look when I'm able to spend some money again...
oh, and thx for the birthday wishes. The foogers are supposed to arrive later today...pretty stoked, but I stupidly set up a date for tonight.

My purchases got delivered yesterday, and lo and behold, it wasn't what I ordered. Nope, instead of the MF104-M, they sent me the MF104-M SD - the super delay. Limited production to 500+ with 1.2s delay, (vs. 800ms) improved sound and lower noise floor. I tried letting the store Amazon worked through for the order as well as Amazon know. But in the end, Amazon said to just go ahead and keep it and thx for my honesty.
