Why M3Ds over MK5s or M5Gs?

Because I think I am buying a set and once I have them, i'm hanging on to them. M5Gs would certainly be nice though. I actually would't mind having a DJM-909 for the TTs as well and keep it separate. In reality, my digital "dream setup" will evolve with technology.

My dream setup, 4 Pioneer CDJ 2000s, a DJM 2000 (that touchscreen control is awesome, don't know why more products haven't featured touch screens?) Sennheiser HD 25-1 II's, all running Virtual DJ Pro (I know, i know, but I've used it, traktor and serato and its my person favorite as far as user interface). Everything laid out clearly, waveforms are great imo, and not all of the bells and whistles of traktor as i rarely use the terrible effects/sample decks anyway.

Realistically though I would probably do away with traktor for the most part if I got CDJ-2000s. And just have a DB4 and two CDJ-2000s as my primary setup. 4 CDJ-2000s and a DB4 is really my dream setup though. Not that I would need all 4 CDJ-2000s, it would just be cool to have them. I would give record box a try and if I did use DVS as long as Traktor doesn't certify the DB4 or offer advanced HID I would consider Serato with an SL4 and 4 CDJ-2000s in advanced HID mode, that would be pretty sick unless record box improves and offers a 4 stacked waveform view like SSL.

Rekordbox works better nowadays, it does the job, it doesnt crash but not the fastest program either. To be honest, what use of traktor would you have if u got 2000's? Just for bigger waveforms.. i'm sure the db4 has enough effects

my dream would be 2x 2000 players with 2000 mixer (had, but sold due to space issues).
A place to play as loud as I want, a place where my girlfriend has no acess. Thats what I want.
Oh, and in that place Id like to have audiovector avantgarde speakers with either Primare electronics or Hegel.
A SSD in my macbook wouldnt be bad either, traktor actually takes some time to startup and now I only have my s2+midifighter..

Honestly My Mc6000 is a dream come true. I love it and will add 1 or 2 k2s in the future. But if I won the lottery, I would Buy 3 CDJ2000s, and 1 DJM900 nexus all white for a more traditional setup. I would also keep my old setup and add a DB4 and 1 sc2000 for that.

My dream setup is DJing just with more than 10 MIDI Fighter Pro on a Macbook Pro with Traktor 2.5 xDD then my second dream setup is the S4 with two X1, two F1 and Maschine on a Macbook Pro xDD I also dream on playing with Traktor and Ableton in the style of Mostly Robot with some friends xDD but the only possible dream setup is this one:

-MIDI Fighter Classic (Decks and Instant Gratification)
-Novation Nocturn (FX)
-NI Audio 2 (easy soundcard)
-Behringer VMX200 (for places with no mixer)

Really happy with my setup. Running a Xone S2 rotary rack mounted with 2 Technics 1200s and a Novation Twitch sitting underneath the S2. SSD Mac runs great. Want to add an isolator (ARS 3500 looks sweet) and i'd like a pair of Denon SC3900's or Pioneer 2000's. The CDJ's aren't essential though as i've always preferred turntables. I have a pair of midifighters that aren't getting used currently.

My favourite part of my setup is my converted garage which houses 5000 records and my gear. I can play away till the early hours and not disturb anyone.

I know this is not much for someone who have 500-1000e monthly paycheck to spear some and afford such equipment but still dream setup for me.
