Greetings all,

I just pulled off my first ever live mix using Ableton and an APC40 this weekend! Time to get learning and building my skills. My first mix was a dubstep mix for a friend's party and it went pretty well, save for a couple hiccups. Even had a longtime dj friend come check out how i was tweaking things. No beatmatching yet, though I asked to get some lessons from said friend with vinyl even though my main interest is laptop djing.

Last year I got to try out a vci-100 and 100se at the NAMM show and those were the most intuitive controllers for me so far. I'm hoping to pick one up sooner than later.

Don't really have a dj name yet but one thing at a time.
