Blogs. It cuts down on the bull and gives you some biased opinion on the artist which isn't always bad if you want to sound like a music snob to your friends.
my only problem with blogs is most of them DONT have permission from the artist to post stuff. i figured this out when i noticed from time to time they'll yank stuff after getting emailed about it. but not until. So it seems to me they just post what they can find, get emailed from readers and see if they can get away with it.
i get that money is tight for people. shit i live in a mobile home. i get that more than anyone. but ive known a LOT of successful EDM producers over the years. I think maybe 1 of them actually paid their rent making EDM. So I wont take any chances because I totally believe in karma.
