yeah i used to have one and ending up finding a used presonus firebox for not much more so i sold it on ebay.
it's like night and day between the dj/io and the firebox, and i strongly recommend it if you have a decent firewire chipset in your laptop and the firebox has the number of ins and outs you need in keeping with the theme of my last post

If you dont use timecode, FIREBOX FIREBOX FIREBOX FIREBOX.
They are worth the extra cash. Unbreakable and very LOUD.
Best soundcard i have ever owned. If im not using timecode with the Audio 8 i use the Firebox everytime. The Firebox is rock solid, zero latency, Midi in/out
