It's all just a pipedream at the mo!

A mate of mine moved there about 4 years ago, married a local girl tho, so I imagine that's how he got a visa!

It's probably gonna be a few years(3-4) before I'm financially stable enough to even think about moving, so I'm just looking at options!

I think those laws have changed. I have a friend that just had to move back to Germany after being here for like 10 years and he said he couldn't do that.

    this!!!

but seriously, I was born in SF and its awesome, I only really moved to LA because I'd been living in the bay area my entire life and needed to get out for a while.

SF can be pretty pricey but berkley is very similar in attitude & people, but not in activity level. it is a bit cheaper though and SF is only a 20 min BART (Train) trip, its a lot of fun and a good atmosphere and attitude.

    Here is the USCIS site:

    http://www.usimmigration.com/

All the information you need is right there. My mother and father where both political refugees from the Czech Rep when it was in the Warsaw pact. My dad is still here in the states (Citizen now) and my mother is back in the Czech Rep.

I do contract work for the Feds.

The whole marrying thing.....that won't work and I literally LOL'd when I read it.

If you have some questions about the whole process you should be able to find most of the answers on that site.

Take your time and think about it.
