I think we should have caution to use fakes, especially if they are loud, it's much more easy to get you ear damaged by fake phones.
Sometimes we become happier with loud and clear sonds, but it doesn't mean that they are good for our ear healthness
Anyway, I'm happy for you, just be caution on the volume, In Ear are really inside your ear

I'd say in ear headphones are going to do your ears a favour... in a loud place they'll give you a bit more isolation meaning you can turn down the volume and give your ears a rest... Of course, any headphones are going to cause problems if you turn them up enough!

I supose my techs are simply too old... a few years under heavy use.

The guy is offering me a pair of Cx 95, I supose fake too, for the inconveniences caused.

Two pair of headphones for 37 dollars... that doesn't sound bad.

Yeah, I'm a bit paranoid regarding my ear health, so yes I'll take care.

Even if they are fakes the isolation is pretty good. It's the first time I use IEM so I don't know if that is normal for that type of headphones.

Not bad at all, headphones are headphones... use them with your ipod or something! If nothing else they'll do until you save up for the real ones!

IE7 are good IEs, but have a terrible flaw for DJing: They have small open slots on the upper side of the IE, means outside noise is coming in. Either tape it off, which could have an influence on the sound, or get IE8 or IE6. The CX-Series is very closely related to the IE-Series and I heard that many musicians use them as well.
I mix stuff on my things...
