    Nah echo and delay arent the same thing cuz delay gets killed with volume drop and echo doesnt.

    They are the same thing. What you're thinking of is the difference between inserted fx and send fx. Inserted fx are in-line with the channel, so if you cut the volume, the effect is cut too. Send fx run on a separate bus and are fed back into the audio stream post-fader (if you choose). That's why you hear a tail if you cut the channel volume. Try running Traktor in external mode with send fx enabled with a mixer that can handle a send bus. You hear "delay" when you cut the volume. Delay=Echo=chunk of audio being repeated. That's all it is.

    Perfect explanation

    You guys are so used to apply post FX of the mixers... in traktor you can apply pre-fader FX
    The last move of DJ Craze video was a delay/echo freeze with fader volume down
