The AK1 is a really nice unit, loud and clear. There are led indicators on the surface that do a simple off/green/red to indicate a good level and a clipped level.
Traktor's metering is not the best, but if you are as loud as possible without clipping the master out (there is a visual indicator), the signal you're feeding the AK1 or whatever is optimal.
