Using a higher RATED power supply is no problem, it will output what the unit will ask of it. Like said above, the problem lies in using an under rated ps, then it will overheat and BOOM the ps. The reason companies supply the minimum rated ps is that amperage costs, and the smaller the cheaper.

In short, if your 1A has the right voltage and polarity, enjoy.

Thanks a lot man.In this case I will take it, because ps is right voltage (9V) and the polarity is right (plus in centrum)
