    TSI's are forwards compatible, but not backwards compatible (not always but its a very good rule of thumb)

    Sorry for sounding a bit ignorant here but i've been running the 2_4 vci mapping i think, my VCI 100se has the snap beat, quantize and sample buttons top left corner. if i update to traktor pro 1.2.6 will i still have 100% functionality of the VCI like i did running 1.1.1.001(current version i have running)

    Just tried 2_5 with Traktor 1.2.6 and all seems good. This supports what Bento wrote^^.

    Cheers man for all the help, i'll try and download 1.2.6 and the 2_5 tsi and see can i get these working on my desktop PC as this is the one i can afford to mess up.

    No SC only shows updates that you havent downloaded.

    Yeah pretty much... Settings files changed after 1.1.1 anything after that wont work backwards.

    yeah i no my NI support login details, was just going to download the 1.2.6 update through service centre
