Maybe try another version?

Is your Mac updated etc?

Have you tried dragging and dropping the files instead of importing it?

Are the trax on your local drive when you import?

How do I get RE to write tags for Traktor? I tried just simply using the 'write tags' option, but it comes back saying 0 of 9 tags written or whatever.

in options....under Tags i think it is....you need to choose the tags you wish to be written.

So test with a single track.

1) Load it up (drag and drop)
2) click options and set the options (also choose the JD3 or something like that Tag format)
3) Right click on the track and choose detect all ....or detect Key. When its done it will display the key and BPM
4) when its done....right click and choose TAG -> write.

RE is arguably more accurate than anything on the market at the moment, but its marginal compared to MiK. MiK is also faster by a considerable margin. So its half of one and half of another

The stability issues of RE can mostly be cured by setting the right amount of virtual memory for java.

I'll try your method, all I want is the keycode to show up in Traktor under key or even in the song title.

On the RE:Wiki there was some stuff about tags not being compatible with Traktor and I thought that was the issue. But thanks for the help.

it works 100% for me dude.

There are a few settings you need to be aware of.

Like...chose keyCODE.....not just Key.
