I don't have access to vinyl timecode, this is the problem. Only CDJ's. But are you saying I can use the full function of the mixer section within the VCI yet run the timecode CD's? So basically sack off the club mixer and use the VCI for the cross fader and the CDJ's for the jog wheels?

Then .....you have the jogs free.

You can use the Fader FX mode.....that will use the jog to control the Wet\Dry....and the faders for rate and amount.

All with the twist of a lil knob.

Sweet touch. Ok, so one more question. Just how responsive is the cross fader? If I do a mod to tighten up the lag am I gonna get battle fader response with extra sharp curve?

Theres a bit of a "lag" with the crossfader, like the video says 4mm

Slap in a pro x fader, i wrote a post about how to do that here - http://www.djtechtools.com/2008/11/0...00-crossfader/

But you still need to route the audio thru an external mixer with any timecode setup, right? So the crossfader is only in Traktor.

P.S. The ProX is SWEEEEET in the VCI

No....you don;t HAVE to mix externally with Timecode.

You can mix internally.....as you would normally.

    OR....externally.

    Whatever you prefer.

    HEHEHEHE

    Yeah....I have 2 x TT's....and a VCI-100.

Gonna get TSP an Audio 8....and a 4 channel mixer.

    That should do me.

    yep. it works.

You can mix internal and set your decks for scratch control. Just need an audio 4/8 to plug in each TT, but only one out.
