VCI not working after upgrade - Page 2

    *UPDATE*

    Firstly, thanks for everyone's contributions of suggestions. I was in a little panic since I could not get any functions or power out of my VCI after the upgrade. I originally used a serial to serial (male-female) as recommended and my old desktop running XP. I had unistalled the flashware previously, but mistakenly I reused the original .exe FDT file that I had on my desktop.

    I followed Photojojo's advice of uninstalling and reinstalling the Renasas flashware. What finally worked was going to the Renasas website again and downloading and installing it a 2nd time. I again followed the video instructions, and this time the flashware went through the entire loading procedure. Success!

    Thanks to the DJ TechTools team to also following up on email.
    Everything seems to be working and the ramp issue is no longer there. Great job!
