Awesome, cheers for all your guys help (<3 DJtt!).

I don't want to spend too much, mostly for remixing/production/mastering, but would be nice to use them to do sets at home.

I play mostly electro, breaks, DnB n Dubstep (which i would need a sub or 5 for anyway).

I checked out some Alesis 5" and 6" active monitors (cant remember model) which were quite nice. Theres a massive price (and size) difference between the two and was wondering how much difference it makes to sound other then max volume between 5/6/8" models.

the krk rokits seem to have recently dropped in price by $50 USD at various retailers.

I went by a local guitar center and bought a pair of RP5s for $100 per speaker.

online music retailers seem to have the same price.

for $200 these sound amazing in my small apartment.

Wow, here you have to pay 300€ for a pair of RP5s. Probably importing will be cheaper than buying here o.O

    136€ + shipping + 19% tax.
    omg

go to your local stores and check what they have. listen to them all. then compare them to the gear listed here. remember that alot of this is personal preference.
for example, i have used jbl eon 15" in the past on multiple occasions in alot of different enviroments and have been pretty happy for the quality, especially for the money. but i know ALOT of people that absolutely hate them. so listen to gear for yourself, decide for yourself what is really worth the money you spend.
