Grew up in Devon, started DJing when I was 16, big in the free party scene down there over the years. Played quite a few bigger organised events as well. Moved to Leicester nearly 6 years ago and since moving did nothing with my DJing. Got the itch again in October 09 and now purchased the gear in my sig and actively looking for gigs, mostly play techy electro but love all EDM and music in general so want to get some proper eclectic sets going.

came to all this late, got into dnb when I was 28/29 and bought my 1210's a A&H Xone62 immediately. Also have a mobile rig for parties etc. Work is pretty intense and mixing is just a release for me. Bought TSP and a Kontol X1 and a midifighter is now on order, I like the idea of live editting tracks.

Currently trying to find time to
    a) Learn traktor
    b) Archive vinyl collection
    c) Beatgrid my tracks
    d) spend time with my GF.

started dj-ing with vinyl in late 90's, mostly prog house. Did mostly parties but did play a couple of small clubs. Stopped the whole thing about 10 years ago. Just got back into it and got Traktor and a VCI-100. Concentrating on learning my new kit and then gonna start to put my house full of vinyl onto my computer. (some of it anyway!)

Been a music geek for years, and due to my techie background I was mostly mp3 based. Wanted to DJ, but it seemed a bit wanky (largely due to the idiot 'DJs' I knew at school) and I couldn't afford to get all the tunes I wanted on vinyl I didn't think it was doable.

A mate of mine introduced me to Traktor 3, and I went nuts with it - I've now got a VCI100-SE & TSP, and ideally use the Control Vinyl to scratch (which I'm just starting to learn how to do) and the other decks for tune playing. I've got a fortnightly show on Purple Radio which keeps my tunes fresh, and play at Big Chill Bristol pretty regularly, and other pickup stuff when I can. I mostly play funk/soul/hiphop/reggae/breaky nonsense - so by the standards of the stuff a lot of people play on here, I'm a little on the lightweight scale

Bought decks when I was 15 and was into jump up dnb (e.g. Clipz and Twisted individual) then slowly my taste changed as Dnb sub-genred. Now im a lover of "minimal", deep and Tech dnb as well as house, techno and breaks. I have been producing for about 5 years, but never really had time to complete a track....

I now do a podcast with Digital plastic (also on TT) which has been growing in success each month.

I have been on Traktor Pro for a year now and yesterday switched to Scratch Pro.....needed to get the decks back from the dead.
