    depends on what you are remixing. ask the label or artist. besides, it's a LOT better working with stems.

    generally you send a copy to the artist and the label, its up to them to decide if they'll let you. and they will charge you for the privilige depending on how much of the original is used in your remix.

    or you might get lucky and the label might pick it up if they think they can make money from it
