most subs are like 18" or 15"...
that 10" rockit is more of a production/monitoring subwoofer not recommended for playing out..
someone correct me if im wrong..

if we were going to throw a rave at a small place, electro and dubstep, how much space could the b52 matrix v1000 kit fill up? is it worth the cash? is it easy to add to another setup in the future?

I know you wanna get some speakers ASAP. However I recommend saving more money to buy some better speakers, like the Mackie HD's, or even the older Mackie powered speakers. Even the older ones are top notch and get SUPER LOUD and sound GREAT. In the meantime just borrow or rent some. In the long run you'll be glad you bought better speakers, and so will the people who come to listen. The listeners may not know why it sounds so good, but they will keep telling you and patting you on the back for it.

    +1 for sure...

but do yourself a favour and check out the JBL EON 15. At $999 a pair used, you'll be surprised by the sound... plus anyone that has done a mobile gig has come across these at one point or another.

I played a party of about 150 with only 1 speaker (I only have one cuz I use it as my monitor)

Save your money and get a powered sub, then you'll really rock. I saved my money for my favourite system... now I roll with a Turbosound rig.
