yeah, i think you do need the full version to load VST's in ableton... not quite sure about that though... can you load the finger in ableton? if you can then there should be a way to do it with maschine, but if you cant get it to work... you can still sync maschine seperately to the same midi clock as traktor and ableton in standalone mode with basically the same method as i told you about syncing traktor and ableton. you just go into maschine software and in the "file" menu there should be sync to external midi... Now if ur traktor midi clock is set up it should be synced to that aswel. there may be 1 or 2 other things you might have to set but let me know if your having problems with it...
make sure you check the midi offset and latency in the maschine software aswel
then if you wanted to route maschine into ableton, you would just have to use the same method you used to route traktor into ableton, only with maschine, and depending on what you wanted to do, on a different channel strip. that way you would still have control of maschines output through ableton, and you would be able to route the output of maschine to all of ableton's effects, and also run it through the finger... although, like i said, if you can get the finger to work in ableton, there should be a way to get maschine to work in ableton aswell... i dont currently have ableton on my computer so i cant verify this. when i get my new macbook ill install it and give it a whirl.
