"I just purchased an x1 control and learned a more recent version of scratch pro is needed to use the controller"
can you say 'poetic justice' ?
EDIT to lower my ass hole level: if you have LE you also get a discount twards an upgrade.

[QUOTE=djchriswoods.co.uk;199811]if i were you, i would maybe get a job...
then buy the software....
i already hate you....see my previous rants on here as to why. i bet none of ur music is legal either.....cunt[/QUOTE
seriously thats your comment? you actually took the time to post only to call the guy a "cunt". save your holier than god attitude for people you know.
lets not end another thread in arguments please.
WTF, you have 2 CDJ 1000's and a DJM 707 and you wont dosh out for legit software? Also, an x1 is like 1/2 as much as scratch pro but scratch pro comes with an audio 8 which is definitely worth it.
Also, @tekkon, while chriswoods might have been a little harsh but he's got a point.
Traktor Pro, VCM 600, Custom Midi Fighter, Presonus Firebox, Ultrasone DJ1 Pro

i thought that the 8 came with TSP, not the other way around
what ever. its all the same

Traktor Scratch Pro 2.7, MBP 13", iPad 2 & TouchOSC, Reloop NEON, Pioneer DJM750mk2, Mackie d.2, Pioneer CDJ800 x2, Technics SL1210MK2 x2, NI Audio 6 DJ, Dicers,
I am not a fan of the harshness of above statement, but if this guy can buy a mac, CDJ 1000s, a DJM 707, an X1 and then calls Trxtor Pro "insanely expensive", I have my doubts as well that he is interested in paying for what he uses. Plus it's pretty unwise to ask such questions in a forum full of people that are pretty loyal to NI.
