had a joystick running with loopbe + glovepie. glovepie requires basic scripting though.

came up hovering the mouse over my screen via joystick+ firing mouseclicks allover the place like BOOM, BOOM, BOOM... no serios results concerning traktor in the end, device was simply too large...

still funny from time to time.. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM

You can turn this off in :
Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control Settings

It should now install fine. You can change the settings back once installed. This was on 32bit so im not absolutely sure about the compatibility with 64bit systems but give it a shot.
kk Ill give it a try, and let you know

scripting is not too heavy, i just learned from the manual and the examples that come with the pogramm. if you are able to do traktors insane midi mapping, you can also cover glovePIE.

I had the same problem with 64bit Win7, Rejoice wouldn't start; but when it said (something to the effect of) "couldn't start mscomctl.ocx, or it is improperly registered" I copied that file (from Windows\System32) and pasted it to the 64 bit folder (Windows\SysWOW64) and then I tried running Rejoice again, this time an error msg. stating the same problem above except tis time it was for "midiio32.ocx", so I did the same: copy from "System32" and paste to "SysWOW64". Then finally an error msg as above with the file "Comdlg32.ocx" - you guessed it, copy-and-paste. And voila - it worked. DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a Microsoft Dev and cannot begin to explain what all this encompasses internally, and although my computer has not spontaneously caught fire from this procedure (I believe all I have done is to facilitate Windows being able to find the .ocx files that the Rejoice installer was not able to install in the folders that the registry needed to point to) I will just say that "use at your own risk" although I would DEFINITELY NOT advise anyone to lower security by turning off or even lowering the U.A.C. settings. They're at that level for a reason and all kinds of nasty things can happen whilst it is off/reduced in functionality. Good luck, and please - let me know if worked for me works for you. -cheers!
