Thanks for the kind words everyone. I just thought I would change it up on here since all the mixes I see are some form of new age Electro/Dubstep/DirtyDutch(what does that even mean?)
JesC almost had me pegged when I posed my Hi Nrg mix from the 80s. "Let me guess, you're about 35 and live around East L.A.?" lol
Next mix will go way back to every DJ's first set in the 80's. A b-boy Breakdown mix with Uncle Jams Army, Eygptian Lover, Planet Patrol, Breakers Revenge, etc...Get ur Cardboard ready! lol
oh, well in that case, I'm really gonna have to dig deep for some proper beats! I see "Apache" and "It's Just Begun" in your future, sir!
Bring it on!

I like these tunes too!! I also have like 5 or 6 crates of old school house stuff and its hard as hell to mix the bpm's are all over the place. I can see the transition in my record crates all my old stuff I tagged the cover with the bpm as the style transitioned in the late 90's none of my records had the bpm on them it was just easier to mix the bpm were all 125-128 on most of the newer (mid 90's LOL!!) tracks. Its rare for me to find anyone who knows my older stuff unless they were clubbing in the late 80's early 90's in Houston.
