    Yes it will. But you can input value manually.

    on troublesome tracks i run the track in mixmeister bpm analyzer to find the bpm, then delete the beatgrid in traktor and manually set the bpm and then set the beatgrid manually. i usually set the grid about 30 seconds into the track.

    this usually does the trick for me.

    thx fullenglishpint ,

    so just to make sure, if I do the tap tempo in Traktor, and click on the lil lock, it should never change the bpm after that right?

    im asking in case I somehow re analyze my collection, it will give another bpm then the one I tapped..just wanna make sure if I spend time tapping a whole bunch of tracks, my work won't get replaced by either traktor or mixed in key

    am I safe with the lock?

    I've found it to be relatively close.

    If not, its not a big deal to press tap 4 times and then slide the beat grid a little if its necessary.
