on troublesome tracks i run the track in mixmeister bpm analyzer to find the bpm, then delete the beatgrid in traktor and manually set the bpm and then set the beatgrid manually. i usually set the grid about 30 seconds into the track.
this usually does the trick for me.
thx fullenglishpint ,
so just to make sure, if I do the tap tempo in Traktor, and click on the lil lock, it should never change the bpm after that right?
im asking in case I somehow re analyze my collection, it will give another bpm then the one I tapped..just wanna make sure if I spend time tapping a whole bunch of tracks, my work won't get replaced by either traktor or mixed in key
am I safe with the lock?
thx again
I've found it to be relatively close.
If not, its not a big deal to press tap 4 times and then slide the beat grid a little if its necessary.
