Oh my bad. The only thing I can think of is you need to select a control surface. Try selecting a random control surface and then MIDI mapping some controls. If that works and you can wait until tomorrow evening, I can make a custom blank control surface script for you.

okay cool sounds good, not sure what a custom blank control surface script is but i'll figure it out. Basically, I went to midi map mode (or something liike that ctrl+m), selected a parameter moved the controller knobs and....nothing. also, that little yellow box isn't lighting up when I move anything on my controller. Thanks a lot for the help, I just started messing around with ableton....so much different than traktor haha
