Help pls with my S4 setup

You can use it in MIDI mode with Traktor Pro while you wait for the license transfer.

You can't activate the downloadable version because the S4 uses a different version of traktor.

I guess I'll have to wait so as I dont have the pro version either

Watch me get shit for this one, but just download Serato and use that for fun until you get your serial # issue working! I think if you use your S4 in MIDI mode you can use it with Serato.

one more question, if it turns out I don't hear back from the seller and NI don't reissue me with a valid serial number, am I stuck with the software/controller or is it possible to purchase a new valid one?

This is the first time you mentioned anything about the registration. Which should have been a given in your first post with your uneducated ass. You need to watch your tone and be more appreciative that anyone is actually willing to help you.

Here's what to do:

1. Go back to his house
2. Tell him he needs to email NI and get the S4 software serial de-registered
3. Stand there till he does it

I'm not sure about that. I am pretty sure NI will be able to help you with this. Either way though, we have a moderator on here who also moderates for NI and I am sure he will find his way to this thread soon and give you his input on the situation. He can help you more then I can with this entire situation.

I'd just say don't worry about it too much, it'll all work out man. Jus stay positive!
