Nowadays most of the the people I know always ask me to send them tracks which I firstly spend ages finding and buying and they want me to just send them to them or give them a copy. It's fine if they're into it as much as I am and reciprocate but they're just casual listeners mostly and know that I have good music, so in that sense I don't prefer giving out tracks or track details for that matter because when they don't appreciate it then there's no point listening to it and overkilling the track

You could always do what Dam Funk does, and get on the mic and tell everyone what's playing on a track to track basis. Guy's got an awesome philosophy on DJing.
