I think they mean DJ Sam, or DJ Samuel, or DJ Sam Yool, or Sam (no DJ or nothin)
I like SamDaMan, myself

Personally, I kind of like SaDaMan. It has a nice rhythmic flow to it, which seems like a good thing for a DJ name. You could definitely also use Sam Mathews. It really just depend on what feel you are going for. Sam Mathews might have a slightly more serious feel to it.

Would a Rose not smell as sweet were it know by a different name?
if you want to be serious stick with Sam Mathews, if you want a cheesy catchy DJ handle stick with SamDaMan.
I registered the domain Digital-Knights and setup a fancy website; no-one looked at it - everyone just calls me Nick the DJ, but I do use the Digital-Knights name for invoicing which looks more professional but attracts a lot of unwanted attention from telesales.
Best of luck with whatever you decide.
