I occasionally have this problem with mine as well, but it hasn't been terminal.

I've had occasions where I had to turn off my VCI and restart Traktor like 3 times before Traktor started responding to my VCI. Again, though, this has not been a problem that seemed to not be cured with a Traktor restart or two.
