I'm really looking to grab one of these, they looks cool. I have no idea of what I'll do with, but they looks cool.

And i was there thinking i was the last one to enjoy this toy!
I bought it two years ago, left it in the dark for a long time until this february when a friend has boosted my motivation and i picked it up again...
Even if it feels a bit like a toy i have a lot of fun with it !

Anyway, i came up mapping it with some instant fx (Wooosh from "army of me" and echo and slice both inspired from DJTT VCI100 mapping) plus control over the 4 fx banks and 2 classic decks!

If anybody is interested it'll be a pleasure to share it!

    Yeah man, that'd be cool!

I also pointed out Daft punk used the BCR, not the BCD, my point being that company's products don't fall far from each other in terms of quality.

The BCD3000 was also released as an improvement on the many many problems that plagued the BCD2000, hence it being the only 3000 in the B-control range, since the BCR and BCF worked the first time around.

I've read more reviews, and the problems people have dont seem to be with the controlelr itself, just general MIDI quirks. Well if it don't work, I can always send it back, right?

And just to set the record straight, Tekki used a BCR2000 which is one of these:

    not a BCD.
Thanks for backing me up mate. BCR is the tool of the trade.

That's the cool thing, you can just dream what you want to do with it, and map it accordingly.
I still haven't met a controller that was as flexible as the BCR.

The more I think of it, the more I'm thinking to be the "best partner" of my APC 80... kind of fancy Eq/vst controller for eack track... dunno, BTW I grab a pair of them today, will check this weekend what I'll do with. Worst case it'll grab dust

One for Ableton, the other for Maschine?!?

If it's flexibility you're after, I'd argue that the McMillen Softstep is pretty far up there. Each pad has something like 6 different parameters that can be mapped any way you like.

Not as easy to master as a BCR though I feel!

Theres mad love for the BCR up in here, and as I look at it I can see all 4 fx banks in traktor set out on it, then just a vast amount of knobs with nothing else to do haha. It is a ridiculous controller, like they just went "Some people like one knob, some like four, but who wouldn't like having 32?!"
