I hope you don't have your entire collection on that stick and only there. You don't wanna pull a Skrillex now do you ?

Do you like the IME's over traditional Headphones? I haven't had a high-end pair of headphones and while I have been using IMEs (to get by) I was debating on a set of High-end IMEs over headphones as I've gotten really used to them.

An ethernet lead sorts that out,

plus some venues now have desktops in 19" cases with traktor or pcdj pre installed and sound cards etc, but any i've played were mouse driven with no permission to install a controller or make key maps,

you just show up with usb stick and headphones. and leave with mouse derived RSI

I–for one–prefer IEMs. Most of your communication with the floor is visual anyway, and even halfway-not-suck consumer-grade ear buds sound better than a lot of the booth monitors I've played with.

Also…very jealous of the OP. I wish I could afford to practice on CDJ-2000s…I'd switch in a heartbeat.
