    Damn that suck about the weight standards. My last year in the corp, they considered me over weight being that I was 210 lbs and was 6 feet tall.

    X, the marine corp is the best service to join in the US. I would say that every male atleast do 2 years reserve duty to have some type of experience. Most countrys around the world require it.

    yea i feel ya, i can't make weight for marines tho, but i can make weight for army national guard well i can loose enough to get into the national guard.

    but i do love the marines tho i was in a marine jrotc program me and him both were in it, but after high school i did the college thing and he joined up. he wished he would have went to college first, cause the whole iraq things fucked him up big time.
