o_O You mean, they screwed your girlfriend and stole your drugs?
I'm genuinely interested in exactly how the CD timecode was unreliable for you. It's always been extremely rock solid for me, and if there's something I need to watch out for, I'd like to know what it is.
Your assistance would be much appreciated.
Well iv been used on timecodes on Various CD players...actually from the new age of pioneer such as CDJ900 , 400 , 850 , 2000 and well idk if it has anything to do with the CD players itself (i.e. firmware and such) but i think its also Traktor's bad way of handling random actions...i had few times when the timecode CDs are not readable or that requiring Recalibration every few minutes or that Traktor stopped them while playing and well many other random problems, not to mention the hassle of setting it in a club after a DJ who played regularly with no software
OK, that looks like scratched or dirty CD's (at least in the sense that I've had those kinds of issues with redbook CD's, although i haven't had it from my timecode yet).
And the hassle of setting up doesn't go away if you're not using CDJs, does it?
I'd have to remap (or find a map that someone else has done) in order to feel comfortable using the X1 for everything, simply because there is no pitch fader on it and I've not invested the time to get the beatgrids right. I'm sure it can work, though.
I must remember to come back and check Padi's vid links when I'm not at work ...
