Yes. The mixdeck would work MUCH better with Traktor PRO if you remap it. It would have much more functionality than the LE version.

you are getting the MIXTRACK and MIXDECK confused. the mixdeck is 2 CD players and a mixer squished together.

won't you be able to remap your controller with a better version of traktor?...i thought that was one of the perks...

And that is what I am wondering. I know you can remap it (someone said they remapped the pan control to jumping between cue points).

I am wondering what controls people have remapped to make it better? Any suggestions on remaping some controls?

i run two budget controllers...a hercules and an x-session pro...i have too many knobs and sliders...

i am sure someone will chime in...

i was in the same boat as you, i sold my mixdeck for 500$ and got a kontrol x1, an lpd8 and a numark stealth. best decision of my life.

Besides having about 15more effects, what other advantages do upgrading to Traktor Pro have on the mixdeck?

No don't do that. You'll have a very very VERY (can't stress Very enough) Hard time! It's a pain to flip through all of your cds. Take advantage of TP. having all you music lined up. You can search BPM and track name and just load it into the deck you prefer within seconds. Then you have more time to look at the crowd and see if they're liking the music. You also can "mix" more effectively.
