exactly where i was going with that...

Apparently thats not all they are ripping off...

    DX:3000
    (similar to behringer's DX2000)

    DJM 303
(Not sure if its supposed to be a rip on the DJM350, DJM350, or the DJM707)

    DDM3000

Lets get this right... im not ripping on them because of quality... honestly ive never used any dj tech products so i cant comment on that, but seriously new companies (granted they have been around for a few years) need to stop copying the names of products that are already on the market. These companies say that they are innovative yet when it comes to names its like they dont even try to comeup with a unique name.

    +1

Does anyone else ever think that it might have been a good thing to have to pay a little more and get good product? especially like the investment concept of it.

I've been living in a bigger city this summer and I have been seeing all these terrible dj's and its never like they are spinning on a +500,+1000, etc dollar setups.

I'm not saying your bad if you have cheap gear but the concept that if you invest and work to buy something then you will probably appreciate and use it more...

2nd edit: So you can use traktor 3 le without a interface but can you use traktor 2?

If so then this would be a steal but I don't know the whole deal with that.

It seems like it has an audio interface or something.

I'm sure David Guetta wouldn't show up to a gig with it but its definite steal if you just want something to mess around throwing 4 tracks together.

I mean if I was playing out to a gig that meant something and I had to feel like I looked cool I could just rent out whatever it is I felt made me look cool.

If the clubs gotta shitty DJ's in them they probably have shitty sound systems in them too. Its a lose, lose.

Copying designs....sure car companies and other products do it all the time. But when it comes to distinguishing yourself as a brand, I think you need to have your own unique style to be truly succesful. Copying a products name doesn't make sence to me tho.
