Wait, really? Aww hell no! Are they still charging the same price as the US made ones? Going to make my own stand then. I go out of my way to support small manufacturers, but I also make it a point to buy locally made products.

I paid $149. I assumed they were made in the USA, since it is plastered all over their website. However, after looking at the box, I noticed it said Made in China.

Personally, I am not happy... and I have emailed them asking for an explanation. In my mind, they are guilty of false advertising.

Their website does indeed still say made in USA, and they sound pretty proud of it. Maybe just the box is made in china? I dno.

it's a solid stand for the Maschine and doesn't bounce much at all. I just got my stand a few weeks ago and still a little reluctant to torque down the clasps tighter than I currently do. Probably won't be an issue for me to tighten them more but i'm just being careful. I doubt there is anything else on the market better than the crane for a maschine stand.

If i was the U.S Consumer agency (don't know the exact name) i would have a big problem with Crane saying they are manufactured in the USA.

Also if i saw this video and was looking for a DJ stand it would push me to spend the extra $$ to buy the Crane. I enjoy knowing my products are well made and support local industry. Even though i am from Ireland i would still support Crane which looks in the video to take pride in the manufacturing process.

But if the manufacturing process has moved to China. MEH just another mass produced product.

Nice video. Now I want one.
Their website says it's the only DJ laptop stand made in the USA http://www.thecranestand.com/
Nevertheless, there are some good products made in China. My iPhone 4, for example.
