naaa thats totally fine, its just that I'm saving up for CDJ's so every penny counts :P

What exactly are you hoping to do with the CDJs? For use with timecode you NEED an Audio 4, 6, 8 or 10.
-
Sooooo an Audio 2 would let me hook up my amp? plus headphones?
-
timecode = scratch right? CDJ 350's is what im hoping to get
-

Yeah it will do that. But it's suited only for either pure midi or midi controller + a mixer.
Basically if you want to use CDJs with with traktor you're going to want to use timecode which with traktor only works with the Audio 4, 6, 8 or 10 sound cards.

Right now I have a DDM 4000 and two Denon DN SC 2000's.. So do i need an Audio 4 atm?
-
Tech Guru
No, the denons are midi controllers so they will work fine!
With the audio 2 you just connect one output up to a channel on your mixer and then mix with those channels. To headphone cue you use the headphone section on the mixer.
-
the Headphone section on the mixer though, turns itself off once set to midi..
