am i missing something.. isn't 7 meters < 25 feet?
My deck is over 30 and I could easily imagine running RCAs from one end to the other without a problem..
..surround sound/home theater systems need more than that, and they are unbalanced and are usually extremely small cables.. no issues!
Save your money.. you'll be fine!![]()
i meant physically running! lol,

Well when i was at a house party and i hooked up my speakers outside with rcas the sound had heaps of noise, and then the next tie at the same house with the same speakers used a di and the sound was good. Look you if the sound desk has rca inputs then use rca but i would recommend from personal experiences that anything over 5 meters you would want a balanced signal or a nice thick gauge rca wire, but i would go with the di.
its an outdoor event...there will be power running everywhere for the bands, possibly from different generators so phasing might be fucked up...lighting rig interference to compete with...so use BALANCED CONNECTIONS! Its a no brainer IMO
