    Can the DX be used as a stand alone external mixer, or is it strictly a MIDI controller? I see that you can connect your CDJs or TTs to it, but couldn't see anything as far as external use was concerned...

    DX cannot be used as standalone, it needs to be connected to computer for the software.

    This guy has sweet TSI's for traktor pro 1 and traktor pro 2 for the DX, DB4, and 4d:

    I just got my dx and I absolutely love it. Still getting used to not having a power switch! Hurts a little every time I unplug it :-P
